This hand built rack is perfect for housing small logs (6-10 inches in length) neatly.  It is made of Pine Boards, and is screwed together, and painted flat black.  This size can accommodate the 13 gallon, or medium sized box of Pit Wood. 
 
NOTE: I am not a carpenter by trade, and this rack is built of Pine.  So with that being said, it might not be the prettiest, and it certainly isn't the strongest (DO NOT attempt to lift, or move rack around with stacked wood on it, it is doubtful it is strong enough to hold all that weight if not supported by the base), but it will do the job, and it is priced very inexpensively.
