American Beech is one of the hardest woods found in New England, and is exceptional firewood, or a awesome neutral wood to smoke/BBQ with!  It burns hot, and for a long time!  Like it's cousin, Ironwood, Beech is, or can be difficult to light sometimes, that is why I have included some hardwood, handsplit kindling to each box.  Each log is roughly 10" in length, making them perfect for most wood burning fire pits, wood stoves, wood smokers (Splits).
