American/Blue Beech are exceptional types of Firewood.  Both are very hard, and burn very hot (with the Blue having the advantage here, but not by much).  The logs burn for a long time, and release a lot of heat energy.  They also dry quickly, making them one of the ideal hardwoods in the area!  Enjoy!
